Whale Carcass Washes Up on City Beach, Shark Warnings Issued

A whale carcass has washed up on City Beach, prompting authorities to issue multiple shark warnings for the popular swimming spot.

Several sharks have already been spotted circling in the area, with local surf lifesavers discovering the carcass this morning and sounding the alarm.

The SharkSmart website has issued several alerts for sharks seen at City Beach, including two white sharks, one measuring 5 metres and another 4 metres, seen 10 metres offshore.
