Petaia Returns to Wallabies Squad for Springboks Tests
Jordan Petaia has been selected in his first Wallabies squad since the 2023 Rugby World Cup as Les Kiss braces for the sternest test yet of his brief coaching reign. The 26-year-old has been plying his trade in France and Japan since the end of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Wallabies coach Les Kiss has named his 34-man squad for the upcoming Tests against South Africa in Perth, with Jordan Petaia returning to the team after a two-year absence.
Petaia, who made his Wallabies debut at just 19 in 2019, has been playing in France and Japan since leaving the Queensland Reds in 2024. He was one of three new faces named in the squad, along with Western Force recruit Harry McLaughlin-Phillips and Queenslander Zane Nonggorr.
