The Australian Wallabies have suffered a 13th consecutive defeat to their trans-Tasman rivals, the All Blacks, with a convincing 43-21 loss at Sydney's Stadium Australia.
The All Blacks dominated the first half, scoring six tries to one, leading 36-7 at half-time. They extended their lead to 43-7 shortly after the break when winger Josh Moorby completed a double.
Despite the scoreline, the Wallabies refused to give up, with Tom Wright and Filipo Daugunu crossing the stripe for the home side. However, the two converted tries only served to limit the damage on the scoreboard.
All Blacks veteran Beauden Barrett touched down for a brace of tries, with his second coming after a 70-metre dash to the line.
Wallabies coach Les Kiss and his squad will now turn their attention to their remaining Nations Championship Tests in the UK, against England (November 9), Scotland (November 16), and Wales (November 22).
The Wallabies will have to wait until next year's historic Anzac Day Test in Brisbane to face the All Blacks again.
Post-Match Reaction
Wallabies skipper Harry Wilson spoke to the media after full-time, saying: "I'm gutted. When you give a team like the All Blacks that head start, it's tough. It's not good enough from this group. We've got to be a lot better. It's been a very disappointing series. We're going to have to re-group and improve a lot."
Wilson added: "We've got to start better."
All Blacks captain Codie Taylor also spoke with the media, saying: "I thought we backed up a really good performance from last week. I thought we were awesome in that first 40 (minutes), just backing ourselves."
Taylor noted that the All Blacks let themselves down in the second half, saying: "That second 40 was a bit different."
