Simon Carman, an Australian national, has agreed to plead guilty to concealing a corpse in connection with the death of 17-year-old Thai teenager Tunchanok Donhomla, also known as 'Cake'. This development comes as part of a trial where Carman faces four charges, including intentional murder, concealing a corpse, moving or destroying a corpse, and abducting a minor for indecent purposes.
Charges and Court Proceedings
Police and rescue volunteers discovered Ms Tunchanok's naked body inside a discarded suitcase in the popular seaside city of Pattaya in June. In a hearing at Pattaya Provincial Court, the presiding judge urged Mr Carman to plead guilty to the charge of concealing a corpse, citing CCTV footage that showed him dragging a suitcase out of the lobby of the building where he was staying.
